Since 2018 the Singers' School has been hosting the Singers' Jam as an Open Stage/Live Karaoke for singers of all levels every first Wednesday of the month at Taco's Bar in… A band of professional musicians + singers of all styles and levels + amazing vibes = the Singers' Jam! Since 2018 the Singers' School has been hosting the Singers' Jam as an Open Stage/Live Karaoke for singers of all levels every first Wednesday of the month at Taco's Bar in Lausanne. This evening is open to singers of all kinds, levels and backgrounds who love singing in public with a professional high-level rhythm section. On drums Xavier Longchamp, on piano Raoul Baumann and on bass Pierre Sottas, this great team of crazy musicians can sight-read absolutely EVERYTHING you bring them, jazz, rock, RnB etc... including world music, your own compositions and improvisations!! This Singers' Jam aims to be inclusive all the way down to the music. 👍Originals ok, if chord grids or clear explanations provided. 👍Also ok to sit at the piano accompanied by the musicians or to bring your guitar or any instrument. 👍Also ok to improvise. 👍Ok to come sing opera, classical or in your preferred language. 👍Possibility to prepare your song at the PRÉ JAM PREP the evening before :-) This is NOT a traditional open mic 😉 Free entry and HAT FOR THE MUSICIANS friendly reminder - The Singers' Jam receives no subsidies or share of Taco's revenue. So we can pay our exceptional musicians, everyone who comes to the Jam (singer AND supporter) should, if possible, contribute to the hat around 20.- (more or less depending on your means, goes without saying!).
